The Queens’ Cavalcade 2017 is approaching, and that 19th of September does not seem so far away. Versilia, from which the Italian adventure of this edition will start, will only be the starting point for a breathtaking journey. We are confidently using this term because we have tried this emotion on our own skin preparing every stage, kilometer after kilometer and incredible passages, often not very well-known but absolutely scenographic.
In the most famous cities of art: Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Perugia and Rome, there are many squares, streets, glimpses, lakes and corners of a beauty that we are sure will reach to your heart. From the “living room” of Marina di Pietrasanta we will reach the Marble Caves and with an incredible panorama photographed in our minds, we will cross the Apennines, curve after curve by going to Passo delle Ravici, that of Futa and Giogo, we will meet the Lake of Suviano and come down to the speed temple: the Mugello Racetrack.

From the green and gentle hills north of Florence we will descend to those of Chianti, the valleys of Siena and Val d’Orcia! We will meet the rugged walls of Monteriggioni, Piazza del Campo and San Quirico d’Orcia where our Queens will face the curve dedicated to Tazio Nuvolari, and greet the bust to him dedicated and located at the exit of the millennial village of Siena, that became part of the Unesco Heritage in 2004
We will stop in Montepulciano where a square suspended over time will welcome us for an inevitable and ‘gluttonous’ stop! From Tuscany, through Umbria and then Lazio, we will embark on Piazza del Duomo in Orvieto, we will cross Viterbo to arrive in Rome: the last stop of our adventure where the winner of 2017 will be crowned!
In order not to lose even a moment of great splendor Tripy II Gps, the satellite location system chosen for this edition, will accompany, guide and monitor each participant. Tripy is a world leader in design and implementation of satellite tracking systems, with thousands of satisfied users and a maniacal attention to the quality of their products. Their motto is to “be the ideal companion for memorable journeys”, and it will surely be like that for us too!
